{Thornhill}: PC MPP, Peter Shurman, Thornhill today encouraged local families to enjoy Ontario?s last May 24th long weekend before Dalton McGuinty?s HST tax grab drives up the cost of travel, hospitality, and recreation services throughout Ontario.

On July 1st the HST will increase the price of hotel and motel rooms, camping fees, airline, bus and rail tickets, theatre tickets, guide services, golf green fees, bicycle rentals and sports registration for children and youth throughout Ontario.
